Aerosmith and ZZ Top to Tour Together

UPDATE:Aerosmith concert tour is cancelled. Longtime rockers Aerosmith have begun their Summer concert tour with ZZ Top. Aerosmith has announced that they will be playing thier classic 1975 album Toys in the Attic (which includes hits Walk This Way and Sweet Emotion) in full at each concert tour stop. Aerosmith plans to hit over 40 cities on their 2009 tour. Aerosmith is also working to complete its 15th studio album.

Miley Cyrus Concert Tickets Onsale Monday

World famous tween TV, Movie and Music superstar Miley Cyrus has announced the details of a planned 44 city tour of the United States set to begin in September of 2009. Tickets go on sale to Miley Cyrus fan club members beginning Monday, June 8th and to the general public on Saturday 13, 2009. Miley Cyrus plans to use Ticketmasters’ new Paperless Ticket technology. All the tickets will be available at the box office of the concert on the night of the show to the purchasers of the tickets only. Miley is shedding the Hannah Montana name for this tour, which is being sponsored by Wal-Mart, but it is expected that Miley will still sing Hannah Montana songs. Miley’s last full length concert tour known as the Hannah Montana The Best of Both Worlds concert tour was sold out across the US with a gross of over $50 million dollars for 70 sold out shows.

Very cool live events in the USA come July starting with July 11th as UFC 100’s main bout features Brock Lesnar defending his title versus Frank Mir at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Major League Baseball’s 80th All-Star Game is scheduled for July 14 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. Will Manny be elected to play? Floyd Mayweather, Jr. fights Juan Manuel Marquez July 18th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Hot concerts this summer are Paul McCartney at Citi Field and in Canada, Elton John & Billy Joel, Michael Jackson at the O2 Arena in London beginning July 13th.
