Miley Cyrus is the daughter of singer Billy Ray Cyrus who had a big hit in the 1990’s “My Achy Breaky Heart.” Miley was born in Tennessee in 1992 and is best known for starring on the Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana.

Why are concert tickets for Hannah so expensive?

Hannah Montana fans are in an uproar over being excluded trying to buy tickets to see Miley Cyrus in concert. Fans tried to buy tickets online from Ticketmaster and even though many had fan club memberships, many could not get tickets.

Then, the fans looked for tickets online on Ebay and Stubhub and became angry when they saw how the tickets were expensive to go.

Miley Cyrus created a lot of excitement in the concert industry by helping to sell many tickets as the opening act for The Cheetah Girls earlier this year. Many shows with the opening Miley shows have been sold.

Bruce Springsteen 2009 Concert Tour Dates

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band are heading out on a late-summer/early fall concert tour and have confirmed previously rumored show dates. Springsteen has seven NY/NJ concerts scheduled and will also hit other major cities like Chicago, St. Louis, Philadelphia and Tampa.

Stubhub’s Top Event Tickets

Stubhub lists the hottest top sports, music and theatre tickets that will be occurring over the next few days. The Jonas Brothers at the Izod Center tops the list, with the MLB All-Star Game taking the second spot. Other top tickets include the musical Wicked in San Francisco and Elton John and Billy Joel at Wrigley Field in Chicago.

Aerosmith and ZZ Top to Tour Together

UPDATE:Aerosmith concert tour is cancelled. Longtime rockers Aerosmith have begun their Summer concert tour with ZZ Top. Aerosmith has announced that they will be playing thier classic 1975 album Toys in the Attic (which includes hits Walk This Way and Sweet Emotion) in full at each concert tour stop. Aerosmith plans to hit over 40 cities on their 2009 tour. Aerosmith is also working to complete its 15th studio album.

Miley Cyrus Concert Tickets Onsale Monday

World famous tween TV, Movie and Music superstar Miley Cyrus has announced the details of a planned 44 city tour of the United States set to begin in September of 2009. Tickets go on sale to Miley Cyrus fan club members beginning Monday, June 8th and to the general public on Saturday 13, 2009. Miley Cyrus plans to use Ticketmasters’ new Paperless Ticket technology. All the tickets will be available at the box office of the concert on the night of the show to the purchasers of the tickets only. Miley is shedding the Hannah Montana name for this tour, which is being sponsored by Wal-Mart, but it is expected that Miley will still sing Hannah Montana songs. Miley’s last full length concert tour known as the Hannah Montana The Best of Both Worlds concert tour was sold out across the US with a gross of over $50 million dollars for 70 sold out shows.

Jonas Brothers Concert Tickets

The Jonas Brothers concert ticket presales have begun and will begin to put tickets to their 2009 concert tour onsale to the general public beginning March 20th. The Brothers will begin their concert tour in their adopted home state of Texas at the brand new Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas. Jonas will then hit the west coast of the US slowly makinf their way to New Jersey and Boston by July before crossing back to the west coast and back again to the mid-west. Since the Jonas Brother’s 3-D movie did not meet expectations are the Jonas Brothers still the must-see concert of 2009 or is Taylor Swift now the must-see concert event of the year?

U2 2009 Concert Tour Dates - 360 Degree Tour

U2, one of the most popular rock bands on the planet, has announced details of their next concert tour. U2 will tour the world beginning June 30th in Spain and take the band through Europe until a September 12 North American debut in Chicago. The tour has been dubbed the 360 degree tour due to the elaborate and high tech stage design that promises spectacular views from all angles. Tickets will go on sale on March 30th for the North American dates.
